About / GT3Tech News

A briefing you can inspect.

GT3Tech News is a current-edition briefing for people who build and defend software. It pulls a bounded set of approved feeds into one ranked snapshot, then keeps the source, age, and signal in view.

01 / Purpose

Built for the morning scan.

The feed is deliberately narrow: AI models and agents, software security, developer tools, infrastructure, and open source. The goal is a useful first pass through what changed, with a direct route to the original reporting or release note.

GT3Tech News does not write generated summaries or pretend that a rank score is objective truth. The score only helps order one edition. Readers still get the source and make the call.

02 / Method

How the edition works

  1. 01

    Intake

Fetch a fixed list of approved RSS and Atom sources.

  2. 02

    Validate

Reject unsafe links, malformed records, and untrusted markup.

  3. 03

    Rank

Order stories with deterministic freshness, trust, and topic signals.

  4. 04

    Lock

Save a timestamped edition and retain the last known good copy when a refresh fails.

03 / FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What is a Locked Edition?

It is a saved snapshot with its own generation time and source health. An older edition never gets presented as if it were fresh.

How often does GT3Tech News refresh?

The production refresh is scheduled every 15 minutes. If that run fails, the site keeps the last known good edition and reports its condition.

How are stories ordered?

A deterministic score considers freshness, source trust, and signals such as model releases, security advisories, and developer tooling. The score compares stories inside the current edition; it is not a universal measure of importance.

Does GT3Tech News write or summarize the articles?

No. GT3Tech News displays source-provided headlines and metadata, then links to the original publication. It does not generate article summaries.

What does a healthy source mean?

It means the refresh process reached and parsed that source. It does not certify every claim in the source's reporting.

Why might a story be missing?

The edition is bounded. Older items can fall below the cut, duplicates collapse into one entry, and a failed source can be temporarily absent. Active filters can narrow the view too.

Does the site track visitors?

No. GT3Tech News has no visitor accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party fonts. External source sites have their own policies once you follow a story link.
